Tree Plantation + Piping
Growing a living ecosystem where trees provide food, water, shelter and a home for birds and other living beings.
Tree Plantation + Piping
Jeevaashramam is envisioned as a natural home where trees and other forms of life can flourish together. This project focuses on planting long-living, large-canopy trees and developing the piping and water-support infrastructure needed to establish and maintain them.
Trees can provide food, shade, shelter and habitat for birds, insects and other small living beings. Fruit-bearing trees will help create a living ecosystem, while suitable produce may also support temple maintenance in the future.
What This Project Supports
Planting suitable maha vrukshalu and other trees that can become a long-term part of the Jeevaashramam ecosystem.
Creating natural food sources for birds and other living beings through fruit-bearing trees.
Developing the piping and water-support infrastructure required for tree plantation and maintenance.
Creating shade, shelter and nesting opportunities for birds, insects and other small living beings.
